Up 4 Rent 2002
Up 4 Rent (that's the way the ‘lads’ spelt it) was a publication aimed at young male street sex workers. It was produced in Manchester with the help of ‘Tez’ a worker from ‘Lifeshare’, a charity who worked with this group of young men. Tez was invaluable in making contacts and enabling the research for this publication. There were a variety of types of male sex work and male sex workers, however, the target group for this publication were a relatively small group of teenagers, most of who were heterosexual, who were often working to support a drug habit.
