Smoking Brown 2001
Our research with homeless heroin users indicated that a number started injecting as they didn’t know how to smoke it. The research was used to inform the Smoking Brown leaflet. This was aimed at trying to prolong the transition to injecting, to assist those who wanted to stop injecting and as a measure to reduce incidents of overdose for those heroin users leaving prison.
The booklets were designed and illustrated by Richard Kemplay.
