Skin Up & You're Off 1995

This publication was a commission from the Professional Footballers Association. It was aimed at young footballers on the books of professional clubs at a time when drug use had become ‘normalised’ among young people and as IOC testing had begun to take place in the game. The basic message was that these young men had a lot more to lose by being caught than did ordinary young people (the potential lifestyle of a superstar/millionaire footballer). This publication was re-commissioned annually by the PFA (with a number of different covers) for over a decade. The publication (apart from the covers) never really changed during that time, as the issues remained the same. Mark Gilman wrote the text and I edited, designed and illustrated it.
