Film One: Shouting Outside Windows

Three short films on Domestic Abuse, Domestic Violence, Alcohol and Drugs in Blackburn with Darwen.
The films were commissioned by Blackburn with Darwen Public Health and Community Safety partnership. The films cover the three Public Health themes of Start Well, Live Well and Age Well. Clients of services from the age of 8 to 84 were interviewed and the recorded voices used to tell three short stories.


Film One: "Shouting Outside Windows" features 12 and 13 year olds talking about how the issue is seen by them.


Film Two: "A Big Can of Worms" features a variety of people talking about the complexities of the issue from male victims, children in refuges, perpetrators of violence etc, etc


Film Three: "Getting to be Me" features an older woman talking about her experiences.
